The concrete is set and the girls had a great time on it! We have lights on in every room so now we can work later yea!

New Porch & Doors

We have a new concrete porch now and we have interior doors. The kids learned alot just watching the whole thing, Alec even got to use a nail gun!

Drywall Finished And Waterproofing

The kids were very amazed by the handy ride on skid steer thing the waterproofing guys had. I have to admitt Iwas too. The drywall is finished these are not the final pics. of that just a few I had on the camera. Things have been a little crazy around here lately the sinks been clogged for weeks. Between school, dishes, & laundry I haven't had time to take pics.

I am also picking colors for the walls and its starting to look like the set of Designing Women around here between the paint swatches and the tile bords. I am starting to see why people get paid to do this. I am thinking pale green up here for the kids common area, green is calming thats very important! Trim is going up currently I will post those pics this week.

Drilling The Wells and Burning The Steps

The first pictures are of the drilling rig drilling the wells for the geo thermal heat and air. The hit limestone so the water and all the ground around it had lime on it and in it the ground is still white.

We got the old porch removed and now there is a block wall around that dirt that I forgot to take a picture of but I got a picture of Wyatt helping with the mortor. The old steps are on the fire in the picture at the bottom here .

Laminate Picked

This is my laminate sample I picked out yesterday after hours of agonizing I finally picked this one with Lisa and Nana's help. The walls will be goldish yellow and the cabinets are dark. I can't wait to see it all together. Now wish me luck on the rest of the house.
