I have not been posting regularly so here are some thing we have missed. The crown molding is finished look at the corners he did a great job. He also finished the cap on the door and window frames that was on the house before. He did a great job with these also.
The Patio is poured and the steps are started. We just need steps to the back door now.
They started digging a ditch for the water line and hit rock again, so we need the ram hoe again.

Railing,GarageDoors & Gutters

A lot has changed around the house this week.

Last Saturday the railing guys were finished by the time I came over. I feel so much safer now!

The stone was delivered and slid off the pallet. We stacked stone for several hrs. last Thursday night. Beth was late to Gymnastics but everyone was working together that was fun.

The gutters are on, Green with white downspouts. Man land has galvanized gutters and downspouts to match the tin roof.

The garage doors are on and are the correct height after an adjustment. No more Tyvex paper to cover up the door opening!

Crown Molding & Porch Samples

Crown molding is going up,look at that corner, base board is finished,& we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. The barn addition started already, the ditch is for the geothermal wells. The pipes are now in the house and the ditch is covered. That might mean we can have airconditioning soon!

On the porch I have a sample of the stone, the green gutter metal. Let me know what you think, I am thinking about green gutters and white downspouts or just all green. In the second picture I messed around with paint to see if the green gutters will look good and the stone with the wood columns.

The insulation is in under the house it looks great the white stuff is to keep the moisture from the ground away from the house. The walls are sprayed with foam insulation to keep it warm under there.
